Janeza Private Cellar is near Bonnievale overlooking the Breede River Valley, known as the Valley of Cheese and Wine. Bonnievale is one of the most beautifully situated towns in the Western Cape. The town is approximately 180 km from Cape Town.

The Robertson Wine Route, which includes all the wine cellars in the Bonnievale area, has in recent years won great acclaim in South Africa and around the world, for production of outstanding wines.

The Janeza wines are made in an old building dating back to the 1930's which in earlier years served as stables and ox pens. Jan and Eza restored the building and equipped it as a small wine cellar.
